Information Wedding Wedge Collects
Wedding Wedge collects information needed to provide evaluation, dashboard, checkout, contract review, support, and report-delivery features.
- Account data: name, email address, login/session records, dashboard access status, and saved report references.
- Payment metadata: Stripe checkout identifiers, payment status, receipt context, and related records needed to verify access. Wedding Wedge does not store full card numbers.
- Evaluation data: wedding location, venue/vendor details, guest count, budget, timing, planning priorities, submitted notes, and generated report snapshots.
- Contract review data: uploaded venue/vendor contract files, filename, file type, size, hash, extracted text, generated overview, key points, and red-flag analysis when the contract review module is used.
- AI processing data: submitted evaluation or contract-review content may be processed by configured AI providers to generate report language, summaries, risk notes, or recommendations.
- Support messages: information you submit through the support form, including data-rights requests.
- Analytics data: optional Matomo analytics and client-side first-party conversion events only after Analytics consent is accepted.
- Consent preferences: cookie preference choices stored in a first-party Wedding Wedge preference cookie shared across weddingwedge.com and dashboard.weddingwedge.com.
- Consent audit records: meaningful consent preference changes may be logged with hashed visitor, IP, and user-agent values for audit readiness.
How Information Is Used
- To generate Wedding Wedge reports and dashboard intelligence.
- To process checkout, verify paid access, and recover paid reports.
- To operate account, dashboard, comparison, guest-count, guest-list, vendor-insight, shared-link, and contract-review features.
- To respond to support, privacy, correction, deletion, and export requests.
- To protect the service from misuse, unauthorized access, and technical errors.
- To improve page flow, product clarity, and conversion measurement when optional Analytics consent is accepted.
- To document consent choices and privacy requests in a private, view-only administrative compliance area.
Service Providers and Processing
Wedding Wedge may rely on trusted service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, Stripe checkout, analytics, AI-assisted processing, and security operations. These providers may process information only as needed to deliver the relevant Wedding Wedge feature.
Wedding Wedge does not sell personal information. If that position ever changes, this policy should be updated before any such activity begins.
Retention
- Matomo raw visit logs: target 180 days.
- Aggregated analytics reports: target 24 months.
- Evaluation submissions and saved venue reports: until deleted by the user/account owner, or review after 24 months of inactivity, subject to operational needs.
- Uploaded contract temporary files: deleted after processing or final failure, and no later than 24 hours at maximum under the active retention target.
- Saved Contract Review reports: retained until deleted by the user/account owner, or review after 24 months of inactivity, subject to operational needs.
- Support messages and data-rights request records: target 24 months.
- Consent audit records: retained for compliance review and audit readiness under the active retention policy.
- Stripe payment metadata: retained as needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal, and access verification obligations.
Privacy and Data Requests
You may request access, correction, deletion, export, objection review, or opt-out help by using the Wedding Wedge support form. Include the email address used for the account, checkout, evaluation, or contract review so the request can be located.
