Essential Technology

Essential technology supports secure sessions, dashboard login, Stripe checkout flow, form submission, report access, and core Wedding Wedge functionality. These items are required for the service to work and cannot be disabled through cookie preferences.

Analytics

Wedding Wedge uses Matomo Analytics and client-side first-party conversion analytics only when Analytics consent is accepted. If Analytics consent is not accepted, the Matomo tracking script is not loaded and client-side conversion events are not sent by Wedding Wedge.

Analytics helps Wedding Wedge understand page activity, conversion flow, support friction, and product improvement opportunities. Analytics consent is optional and off until accepted. Server-side operational payment and recovery records may still be created when needed to complete checkout, deliver reports, or support recovery workflows.

Consent Across Wedding Wedge Subdomains

Cookie preferences are stored in a Wedding Wedge first-party preference cookie that is valid for weddingwedge.com and dashboard.weddingwedge.com. This allows a visitor who already accepted, declined, or managed preferences on the public site to keep the same choice when using the dashboard.

Legacy preferences previously saved in browser local storage are migrated to the shared preference cookie when possible. If a browser blocks that migration or cookies are cleared, the preference notice may appear again.

Consent Audit Records

When you save, update, accept, decline, or withdraw cookie preferences, Wedding Wedge may log a privacy-conscious consent audit record. These records store consent version details and hashed visitor, IP, and user-agent values. Wedding Wedge does not use consent audit records as advertising pixels or page-view analytics.

Support / Communication

When you submit a support or data-rights request, Wedding Wedge processes the information you provide so the request can be received, reviewed, tracked, and answered. This is operational processing, not an advertising cookie category.

Future Marketing

Wedding Wedge reserves a future marketing category for ad pixels or remarketing tools. No marketing or retargeting pixels are active in v6.4.0, and this category is disabled by default.
